Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting a commercial lines department by managing mid-to-large market accounts and ensuring seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process premium finance agreements, including quoting and post-acceptance procedures.
• Generate and distribute renewal/new business certificates of insurance and auto ID cards.
• Send renewal/new business binders, invoices, certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards to insured clients.
• Manage tasks related to receiving and processing policies, endorsements, and change requests.
• Monitor carrier websites for renewals, changes, notices, and other relevant updates.
• File and organize miscellaneous emails and documents in the ImageRight system.
• Assist with projects for the Property & Casualty (P&C) department.
• Support quoting for new and renewal business as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial lines insurance.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with AMS360 preferred but not required.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Work Environment: Must be able to work onsite during the training period and transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter.
