Associate Broker
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Broker to join a dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of accounts, primarily focusing on Property & Casualty (P&C) lines, including artisan contractors, general contractors, and other mainstream risks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in underwriting renewals and a desire to grow into new business development over time. This position offers flexibility, a supportive culture, and a clear growth path within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and underwrite renewal business, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Collaborate with clients to address their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Work with support staff to handle endorsements and invoicing.
- Utilize AIM and ImageRight software for account management.
- Maintain strong relationships with agents and carriers, with occasional travel as needed.
- Think creatively to solve problems and provide exceptional service under pressure.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with a focus on P&C accounts.
- Preferred Expertise: Familiarity with accounts in Alabama and Mississippi, including handling more complex and involved accounts.
- Licenses/Designations: Preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AIM and ImageRight software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Work Environment:
- Flexible work arrangements, including remote options.
