Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including a significant focus on non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent client service skills, and a passion for supporting organizations that make a difference in their communities.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, long-term care coverage, 401(k) with 5% employer match (to be confirmed), and 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a $3 million book of business, primarily consisting of mid-to-large market accounts with a focus on non-profits, commercial property, apartment buildings, and other industries.
  • Handle daily account management tasks, including renewals, marketing, quoting, policy changes, endorsements, and Certificates of Insurance (COI).
  • Provide exceptional client service with a client-first mentality, ensuring the needs of clients are met with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Lines Department Manager and a team of 15 professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support the agency's mission of providing cost-effective solutions for non-profit organizations and other clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in California is required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in working with non-profits.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with HawkSoft software is a plus but not required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a client-first mentality, and a positive, team-oriented personality.
  • Work Environment: This is a fully remote position. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
