Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team in a hybrid capacity, working three days in the office and two days remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, including manufacturing, hospitality, commercial property, retail, wholesale, construction, wine, and agriculture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client-facing roles, renewals, and brokerage experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and tailored risk management solutions.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: Up to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • 401(k): 50% match on contributions up to 6%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with approximately $850,000 in revenue, consisting of 50 clients and 175 policies.
  • Oversee the renewal process independently, with support from assistants for administrative tasks such as endorsements and outsourced services.
  • Educate clients on market changes and provide tailored risk management advice.
  • Handle marketing and remarketing efforts for client accounts.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in California is required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines, with 5+ years preferred.
    • Proven experience in client-facing roles, renewals, and brokerage.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
