Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, building strong client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance needs
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewal processes, policy endorsements, and claims management
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate favorable terms and pricing for clients
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products and services to existing clients
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to best serve clients and provide proactive advice
  • Assist in the development of risk management strategies and provide recommendations to improve clients' insurance coverage
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, records, and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Previous E&S experience in the Colorado market is required
  • Previous experience with Property, LROs, Habitational, Contractors, Construction, GL, and Commercial Auto accounts is preferred
  • Proficiency in insurance policy language, coverages, and endorsements
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $80k-$100k (based on experience)
