Commercial Insurance Account Manager | Primarily Remote-Atlanta

Job Summary: A reputable agency is in search of a detail-oriented individual with a thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in both admitted and non-admitted carriers' coverage lines.

Description: The preferred candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a substantial, established book of business.
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles.
  • Proficiency in various insurance products and maintaining client relationships.
  • Capability to handle new and renewal submissions efficiently.
  • Competence in reviewing insurance contracts for inaccuracies.
  • Proficient in processing endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
  • Ability to complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
  • Thoroughly check policy coverage and endorsements on all new business and renewals.
  • Can work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Directly responsible for retaining all accounts assigned to the team.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to address various issues such as cancellations, claims, renewal matters, audits, receivables, and carrier issues.

Requirements:

  • Must hold an active P&C license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management.
  • Above-average computer skills, with the ability to become proficient in various necessary programs.
