Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
- Work with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide appropriate coverage solutions
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
- Assist clients with claims handling and provide support throughout the claims process
- Stay up to date on industry trends and insurance regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager or similar role
- Proficiency with AMS software, specifically Applied EPIC
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverage options
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- A valid P&C insurance license
Day-to-day
- Engage with clients to review their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and coverage options
- Process policy change requests and provide timely updates to clients
- Address client inquiries and provide ongoing support
- Stay informed about changes in the insurance industry and share relevant updates with clients
