Commercial Lines Assistant Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Assistant Account Executive to join a team in a temp-to-hire capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote environment with a supportive and collaborative company culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, excellent client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple service requests efficiently.

Compensation Package

  • Contract Rate: $33-$38/hour
  • Permanent Salary: $70,000-$80,000/year (upon conversion to permanent employment)

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily service requests, including certificates, endorsements, policy downloads, policy reviews, and renewals.
  • Handle 30-50 client emails per day, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Conduct client-facing interactions through virtual meetings, email, and phone.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to share responsibilities, including analytical work and claims management.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Utilize AMS360 software for policy management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5+ years of commercial lines experience in an agency setting.
    • Experience handling accounts valued at $50,000 and above, particularly in contractors/construction and real estate sectors.
    • Familiarity with AMS360 software is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
