Client Executive/Client Manager
Job Summary
Looking for a highly skilled and motivated Client Executive/Client Manager to join the Large Commercial Accounts team. This hybrid role involves managing a diverse portfolio of 20 accounts across multiple industries, totaling $8–9M in premium.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $150,000
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 20 accounts across industries such as education, manufacturing, construction, engineering, and real estate
- Act as both Client Executive and Client Manager, depending on the account
- Build and deliver proposals, manage renewals, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Broker deals and negotiate terms with carriers, leveraging established relationships with key insurers
- Review complex insurance terms and alternative program structures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service and satisfaction
- Utilize Applied EPIC and Indio software to manage accounts (training provided if necessary)
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in the insurance industry, with a strong technical background in coverage terms, policy structures, and market dynamics
- Licenses: Property & Casualty license required; additional designations are a plus
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with carrier appetites and market conditions; established relationships with carriers such as Travelers, The Hartford, Chubb, Zurich, CNA, and Liberty Mutual
- Client-Facing Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Technical Expertise: Experience broking deals and reviewing complex insurance terms
- Soft Skills: Team player, entrepreneurial mindset, energetic, accountable, and clear communicator
- Preferred Background: Candidates with carrier/underwriting experience or a background at global firms such as Marsh, Willis, Gallagher, USI, or MMA are highly desirable
