Job Summary

Seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring exceptional service while driving revenue through identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, and be committed to fostering a culture of collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all commercial insurance needs.
  • Develop tailored insurance solutions that align with clients' business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Educate clients on policy options, endorsements, and coverage changes to ensure their needs are continuously met.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing on behalf of clients.
  • Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and recommendations.
  • Manage and oversee renewal processes, ensuring timely submission and accurate documentation.
  • Address and resolve client inquiries regarding claims, billing, and policy changes.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by mentoring peers and sharing industry knowledge.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Executive or in a similar account management role within an insurance brokerage or agency.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, and specialty coverages.
  • Active insurance producer license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly to clients.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills with a client-first mentality.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using agency management software.
