Commercial Lines Account Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage client relationships, assess their commercial insurance needs, and deliver tailored risk management solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the commercial insurance space and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, maintaining exceptional levels of service and support.
- Assess client needs, analyze risk exposure, and recommend customized insurance solutions.
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations to effectively communicate policy options for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters, clients, and carriers to ensure the best possible coverage and pricing solutions.
- Proactively monitor renewals and strategize ways to retain and grow the client portfolio.
- Coordinate with internal teams to process policy changes, endorsements, or claims inquiries on behalf of clients.
- Stay informed about market trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements impacting the commercial lines insurance industry.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the generation of leads and referrals.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support cross-sell and up-sell initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of applications, documentation, and communications.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial insurance role, preferably in account management or sales.
- Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance (or willingness to obtain licensing within a specified timeframe).
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and underwriting processes.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance management systems (AMS, CRM platforms, etc.).
- Results-driven and self-motivated individual with a passion for client-centric solutions.
