Job Summary

As a Commercial Lines Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and tailored insurance solutions. Your strong understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to build and maintain relationships will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers
  • Analyze and assess commercial clients' risks and exposures, providing recommendations and options to mitigate these risks
  • Prepare and present proposals, market new and renewal business, and facilitate the issuance of insurance policies
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements, and educate clients on relevant changes

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in an independent agency setting required; 5+ years preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
