Commercial Insurance Account Executive


Summary:
Established agency seeking to hire a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. 


Job Duties:

  • Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
  • Ability to advise and consult with clients re: their insurance coverages
  • Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
  • Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
  • Service and monitor account activity.
  • Call existing insured to compliment or “round out” personal accounts.
  • Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business.
  • Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
  • Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
  • Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing.
  • Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors.
  • Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business

 

Qualifications:

  • P&C licensed
  • 10+ Years working with middle market accounts in agency environment
  • Ability to meet with clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
  • Must be organized
  • Ability to delegate workflow
  • Ability to multi task
  • Strong math & technical skills

Compensation Package:

  • Compensation: Between $100K-$150K (based on experience).
