Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a well-established, family-oriented insurance agency. This role offers the opportunity to manage a specialized portfolio of commercial accounts while working in a collaborative, team-focused environment that values long-term employee success and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial insurance accounts from renewal through ongoing servicing, providing A-Z account management.

  • Handle quoting, applications, renewals, endorsements, certificates of insurance, marketing activities, and Statements of Values (SOVs).

  • Service accounts with a variety of commercial coverages, including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Directors & Officers, Property, Boiler & Machinery, and other specialized commercial risks.

  • Collaborate with underwriters and assist with claims coordination to ensure timely resolution of client needs.

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Maintain complete and accurate account documentation within the agency management system.

  • Provide outstanding customer service while supporting team initiatives and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

  • Commercial lines experience required:

    • 2+ years with a college degree, or

    • 5+ years without a degree.

  • Experience with commercial marketing, claims coordination, and carrier relationships preferred.

  • Experience with AMS360 is preferred but not required.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and support colleagues.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annually, with flexibility up to $80,000 for highly qualified candidates.
