Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business, with a focus on small businesses, contractors, restaurants, and bonds. This is an onsite position offering a collaborative and fun team environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a book of business.
  • Handle daily service tasks, including quoting new and renewal business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist with marketing placements.
  • Work with carriers such as Grange, Auto Owners, Pekin, Progressive, Travelers, and Liberty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients in industries such as small businesses, contractors (HVAC, plumbing, etc.), restaurants, and bonds.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial insurance; 5 years preferred.
  • Software Knowledge: Proficiency in HawkSoft is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work onsite; no remote or hybrid options available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage a large book of business efficiently.
  • Leadership potential to grow into a Department Manager role.
  • Familiarity with the carriers and industries listed above.
