Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers through regular communication.
- Address client inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and other service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare professional and accurate insurance proposals and summaries for client presentations.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend new lines of coverage tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Oversee and manage the renewal process for assigned clients.
- Market client accounts, prepare marketing materials, and present options to clients.
- Ensure the seamless implementation of policies, including the preparation and delivery of required forms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the client management system.
- Coordinate and lead relationship management meetings with clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, new products, and legislative changes relevant to clients' needs.
- Understand underwriting requirements and carrier guidelines to provide accurate information to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Comprehensive understanding of various insurance products and the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Preferred experience with Agency Management Systems, particularly Applied EPIC.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant insurance industry experience, with a focus on commercial lines account management.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in computer skills and the ability to quickly learn essential software programs.
