Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to the operations, focusing on managing a diverse portfolio of accounts, including summer camps, contractors, electrical businesses, and nonprofits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the insurance industry, particularly within independent agencies, and a proven ability to deliver exceptional client service. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with a focus on middle-market accounts, including summer camps, contractors, electrical businesses, and nonprofits.
  • Handle accounts with an average revenue of $10,000 and contribute to a $7.5 million revenue book.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Quote new and renewal business as required.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Attend monthly meetings (second Monday of each month) if remote, with travel and accommodation provided.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an independent insurance agency, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Generalist experience in handling a variety of account types.
  • Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility to work remotely, hybrid, or in-office, with the ability to attend in-office training and meetings as required.
