Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients by managing and maintaining commercial insurance policies, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This role requires the ability to work both collaboratively with internal teams and independently while exercising sound judgment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients, addressing inquiries, policy changes, and coverage questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the renewal process for commercial lines insurance policies, including gathering required information, preparing applications, and negotiating terms with underwriters.
- Provide expert advice to clients regarding their insurance needs, identifying gaps in coverage, and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring all policy documents and correspondence are organized and easily accessible.
- Work with producers, underwriters, and other team members to secure competitive quotes, process endorsements, and resolve issues.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients, upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure clients remain informed and policies align with their specific needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement efficient workflows and best practices that improve client experience and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management or a related field.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in using agency management software and tools.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, ensuring all client documentation is error-free and compliant.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to address client concerns and identify opportunities for improvement.
