Commercial Account Manager and Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Account Manager and Agent to join a team. This role is a critical part of the commercial department, responsible for managing and servicing a book of business with a focus on small business unit (SBU) accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent critical thinking skills, and a collaborative mindset to thrive in the inclusive and supportive work environment.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually (depending on experience) + commissions

Responsibilities
- Provide A-Z servicing for a generalist book of business, including policy renewals and retention.
- Quote and process renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.
- Manage multi-line existing books of business with accounts typically under $50,000 in size.
- Collaborate with the commercial department team to ensure exceptional client service.
- Utilize EZLynx software for account management and processing.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active 2-20 insurance license (required).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance account management.
- Proficiency in EZLynx software (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a collaborative and family-oriented environment.
