Commercial Lines Account Manager
Seeking to hire a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a commercial team.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day service for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts including renewals, endorsements, certificates, coverage reviews, and carrier communications
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, delivering proactive, responsive, and consultative service
- Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities; coordinate with producers on account rounding
- Prepare renewal submissions, marketing summaries, and coverage comparison analyses
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, including evaluating and implementing technology tools that improve efficiency and client experience
- Collaborate with producers and agency leadership on middle-market account strategy
- Document workflows and contribute to agency operating procedures and knowledge base
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial lines account management experience (agency-side preferred)
- Active Ohio P&C license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- AMS360 experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solver mindset: you see broken processes and want to fix them
- Comfortable with technology and eager to learn new tools
- Self-directed with high attention to detail
