Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and professional Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing middle-to-large market accounts, ensuring exceptional client service, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of policy data. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, policy checks, and billing processes.
  • Respond to client inquiries, gather necessary information, provide proofs of insurance, and assist with renewal procedures.
  • Access carrier systems to obtain required documents and facilitate carrier communications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client and carrier interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members and build strong relationships with stakeholders; participate in regular team meetings.
  • Perform general administrative tasks, including answering calls, handling mail, and clerical duties.
  • Effectively manage workload to meet established quality and timeliness performance metrics.
  • Adhere to documented processes and procedures outlined in the servicing workflow.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing middle-to-large market accounts. Familiarity with Applied Epic software is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic and other relevant insurance software.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong sense of accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members.
