Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a book of small commercial lines accounts, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, primarily small commercial lines accounts under $100,000 in premium.
• Provide A-Z account management, including policy renewals, endorsements, and client inquiries.
• Work with a variety of accounts, including contractors, produce haulers, buildings, and other generalist agency clients.
• Collaborate with producers and other account managers to ensure seamless client service.
• Utilize Applied Epic software for account management and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Texas Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (5+ years preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage a book of business independently.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work onsite during the training period and transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter.
