Commercial Lines Account Manager – Construction/Contractor Focus

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored risk management strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Manage all lines of coverage, including professional liability and excess coverage, ensuring clients receive the highest standards of protection.
  • Provide exceptional client service by proactively addressing inquiries, concerns, and policy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their individual requirements and risk exposures.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of existing policies to identify opportunities for coverage enhancement and optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms and conditions.
  • Utilize agency management software for account management and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
  • Experience managing accounts in industries such as construction, contracting, trucking, real estate, transportation, and related fields.
  • Strong understanding of various lines of coverage, including professional liability and excess.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, underwriters, and team members.
  • Proficiency with agency management software for efficient account servicing.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

 

Compensation Package:

  • Salary: $70,000 – $85,000+ annually, depending on experience.
