Commercial Lines Account Manager – Construction/Contractor Focus
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored risk management strategies to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Manage all lines of coverage, including professional liability and excess coverage, ensuring clients receive the highest standards of protection.
- Provide exceptional client service by proactively addressing inquiries, concerns, and policy adjustments.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their individual requirements and risk exposures.
- Conduct strategic reviews of existing policies to identify opportunities for coverage enhancement and optimization.
- Build strong relationships with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms and conditions.
- Utilize agency management software for account management and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Experience managing accounts in industries such as construction, contracting, trucking, real estate, transportation, and related fields.
- Strong understanding of various lines of coverage, including professional liability and excess.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, underwriters, and team members.
- Proficiency with agency management software for efficient account servicing.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Compensation Package:
- Salary: $70,000 – $85,000+ annually, depending on experience.
