Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and foster strong client relationships. This role involves developing tailored insurance solutions, managing renewals, and partnering with carriers to optimize coverage.

 

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary liaison for commercial clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
  • Assess client needs and develop comprehensive insurance solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters
  • Renew existing policies and prepare new business quotes
  • Process policy endorsements and handle other client service requests
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience independently managing and servicing a book of business
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience in commercial lines account management
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency with insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
