Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth and retention of our client base.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including responding to client inquiries, advising on coverage options, and ensuring policy compliance.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and provide comprehensive insurance solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their insurance needs and providing support in claims handling and risk management.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account retention and growth, cross-selling and upselling insurance products and services.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market to better serve clients and provide sound advice.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous commercial agency experience is required.
- 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverage options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $60k-$80k (based on experience).
