Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assess clients' business needs and risks to make informed recommendations on suitable insurance solutions.
- Review and process policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly, addressing any concerns regarding coverage, policy details, or claims.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including sales representatives, underwriters, and claims specialists, to deliver seamless service to clients.
- Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships through cross-selling or upselling additional products and services.
- Stay informed about trends, regulations, and updates within the commercial insurance industry.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding client requirements, ensuring timely resolution of all account activities.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive account records in the agency management system.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an account management role, within the commercial insurance industry.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect and build trust across a diverse client base.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with an ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with insurance agency management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with a customer-centered approach to service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience handling large or complex commercial accounts.
- Industry certifications such as CIC, CPCU, or CRM.
