Job description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Assess the needs of clients and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Oversee all aspects of the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting options to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Review and verify policy documents and endorsements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new clients, including implementation of coverage and answering questions.
  • Stay updated on market trends, carrier products, and industry regulations to better serve clients.
  • Build and maintain trust through exceptional communication, follow-up, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in Commercial Lines services.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including policy coverage, endorsements, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering superior client service.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant CRM software and insurance management systems.
  • A professional insurance designation (e.g., CPCU, CIC, or ARM) is a plus.
  • Active insurance license preferred or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeline.
