Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Assess the needs of clients and provide tailored insurance solutions.
- Oversee all aspects of the renewal process, including gathering underwriting information, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting options to clients.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
- Review and verify policy documents and endorsements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new clients, including implementation of coverage and answering questions.
- Stay updated on market trends, carrier products, and industry regulations to better serve clients.
- Build and maintain trust through exceptional communication, follow-up, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in Commercial Lines services.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including policy coverage, endorsements, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering superior client service.
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant CRM software and insurance management systems.
- A professional insurance designation (e.g., CPCU, CIC, or ARM) is a plus.
- Active insurance license preferred or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeline.
