Commercial Lines Account Manager - Construction
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager - Construction to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in servicing and retaining a book of mid-to-large commercial construction accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, particularly within the construction sector, and a proactive, team-oriented approach to their work.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a book of business with annual revenue ranging from $800,000 to $1,000,000.
- Promote ongoing client loyalty and retention in collaboration with Producers and Account Executives.
- Conduct annual coverage reviews to identify potential gaps and recommend necessary coverages.
- Order and review loss runs for renewals and coordinate the preparation of loss summaries and experience modifications.
- Negotiate renewal pricing and coverage, remarketing accounts as needed.
- Assist in cross-selling efforts and pre-qualify accounts with insurance carriers.
- Prepare proposals and renewal surveys in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain standard commission levels and identify additional services needed by clients.
- Support the firm's growth initiatives by providing exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial construction accounts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 preferred, but experience with other insurance software is acceptable.
