Job Summary

Seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This role involves fostering strong client relationships, providing tailored insurance solutions, and ensuring that business needs are effectively met. The position requires a proactive approach, excellent customer service, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients and serve as the primary contact for all account-related inquiries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal team members.
  • Analyze and understand clients' insurance coverage requirements, offering customized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Oversee policy renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations with precision and efficiency.
  • Prepare and deliver timely quotes, proposals, and policy documents.
  • Stay informed on market trends, insurance products, and coverage options to provide strategic advice.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly while ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Support the sales team with prospecting and account development.
  • Ensure all activities and documentation comply with regulatory and company policies.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in commercial insurance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, principles, and products.
  • Valid insurance licensing as required by state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Analytical skills to assess data and provide valuable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to team objectives.
