Commercial Lines Account Manager, Middle Market

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves leading client service for middle and large accounts, collaborating with senior colleagues on strategy design, and managing renewal processes.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $77,200 - $95,400 + bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive service plans for clients.
  • Prepare for and actively participate in strategy and proposal meetings.
  • Conduct exposure reviews, perform gap analyses, and provide coverage recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure efficient placement processes for mid-market accounts.
  • Oversee confirmation of coverage, policy issuance, endorsements, and audits.
  • Participate in post-renewal and stewardship planning meetings for large clients.
  • Maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in EPIC.
  • Summarize loss history, current programs, and expiring exposures.
  • Draft finance contracts and create premium billing allocations.
  • Review carrier invoices and coordinate policy checks and audits.

Qualifications/Requirements

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages.

Professional Licenses/Certifications

  • Active state Property & Casualty insurance license is required.

Essential Skills/Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in analyzing guaranteed cost program designs and coverage forms.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking to address complex situations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and self-serve portals, with the ability to train clients on their use.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
