Commercial Lines Account Manager/Account Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager/Account Assistant to join a growing team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to manage a diverse portfolio of small business accounts, providing exceptional service and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client experiences. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with initial onsite training followed by a flexible remote work arrangement.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
  • Bonuses: Quarterly bonuses and profit sharing

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business worth approximately $5 million in premium, primarily consisting of small business accounts.
  • Provide A-Z servicing for accounts, including new business (90%) and renewal business (10%).
  • Collaborate with other Account Managers to ensure seamless client support.
  • Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met.
  • Assist with policy changes, endorsements, and claims processing as needed.
  • Support the team in achieving growth objectives and contributing to the agency's long-term goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an agency setting, with a focus on commercial lines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software strongly preferred.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
