Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager – Small Business Team

 

Job Summary:
An established, independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its Small Business team. This role is responsible for managing a book of small commercial accounts, delivering high-quality client service, and supporting new business efforts as needed. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on long-term relationships and client satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a book of small commercial accounts (~$1M in premium).
  • Provide full account servicing from start to finish, excluding billing.
  • Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
  • Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships.
  • Accurately document all account activity in AMS360.
  • Assist with new business quoting and onboarding as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of commercial lines account management experience (small business focus preferred).
  • AMS360 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with multiple insurance carriers.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Active Property & Casualty license required.

 

Compensation Package:

  • Compensation: $70K–$85K (based on experience).
