Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager – Small Business Team
Job Summary:
An established, independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its Small Business team. This role is responsible for managing a book of small commercial accounts, delivering high-quality client service, and supporting new business efforts as needed. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on long-term relationships and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a book of small commercial accounts (~$1M in premium).
- Provide full account servicing from start to finish, excluding billing.
- Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes.
- Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships.
- Accurately document all account activity in AMS360.
- Assist with new business quoting and onboarding as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3–5 years of commercial lines account management experience (small business focus preferred).
- AMS360 experience strongly preferred.
- Experience working with multiple insurance carriers.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
Compensation Package:
- Compensation: $70K–$85K (based on experience).
