Commercial Lines Account Manager (Small Commercial / Select Business Unit)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role focuses on managing small commercial accounts within the Select Business Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial lines insurance, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client service.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage a book of small commercial/select business unit accounts.
  • Provide full A–Z account management, including service and retention.
  • Handle certificates, endorsements, invoicing, and client communication.
  • Perform marketing and remarketing activities for accounts.
  • Quote new and renewal business, with a focus on renewals.
  • Ensure timely and responsive client service.
  • Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new systems.
    • Eager to learn and grow within the role.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Strong client service skills with a responsive and professional demeanor.
