Commercial Lines Agent – Service/Inbound Sales

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Agent to join a growing team. This role involves managing accounts from start to finish, including quoting, renewals, policy updates, and responding to inbound customer inquiries. With a strong focus on customer service and account management, will work with a diverse portfolio of accounts, including farms, restaurants, and other businesses.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial lines accounts from start to finish, including quoting, renewals, and policy updates.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inbound inquiries and assisting clients with their insurance needs.
• Handle a variety of accounts, including farms, restaurants, and other businesses with premiums of $5,000 or more.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system (AMS360 experience is a plus but not required).
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a solid independent agency.
  • Strong background in commercial lines insurance is essential.
  • Familiarity with quoting and renewing business.
• Skills:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using agency management systems (AMS360 experience preferred but not mandatory).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
