Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a team. This role is integral to supporting the Commercial Lines department by providing back-end administrative support, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in commercial lines insurance and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 annually (dependent on experience and licensure)

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines CSR, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing back-end support for the Commercial Lines Account Management team.
  • Handling endorsements, certificates, and policy updates in the agency management system.
  • Preparing for policy renewals, including gathering loss runs, Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs), and other necessary documentation.
  • Following up on invoices and ensuring timely processing.
  • Communicating with carriers to obtain policy information and resolve issues.
  • Assisting the Account Management team in a pooled environment to ensure client needs are met.

This is not a client-facing role but will involve regular interaction with carriers and internal team members.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Preferred Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance; prior experience with certificates is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 or similar agency management software is highly desirable.
