Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join a growing team. This role leverages expertise in commercial insurance to develop and maintain relationships with clients, assess their unique business needs, and offer tailored policies to protect their assets. This position is integral to driving the company's growth while ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new commercial insurance clients through networking, referrals, and strategic marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure retention and long-term satisfaction.
- Analyze and assess clients’ business risks and exposures to recommend appropriate commercial lines insurance products and services.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to propose customized insurance solutions tailored to clients’ unique needs and objectives.
- Ensure all policies and endorsements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements, maintaining thorough records of client interactions.
- Partner with internal teams, including underwriters, account managers, and customer service representatives, to deliver seamless support to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, carrier offerings, and competitive landscape to provide clients with innovative and strategic options.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics while upholding the company’s commitment to ethical practices and customer-focused values.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance terms in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong aptitude for assessing client needs, analyzing risk, and crafting tailored insurance solutions.
- Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and insurance-specific platforms or tools.
- Collaborative, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively to meet deadlines and goals.
