Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a established and reputable independent insurance agency. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and grow your own book of business while working in a collaborative and results-driven environment. With access to a wide range of carrier markets and dedicated CSR support, you will have the tools and resources needed to focus on sales and relationship building.

Compensation Package

• Competitive Commission Structure:
  • 40% New Business Commission
  • 30% Renewal Commission
• Long-term renewal income potential.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new Commercial Lines business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
• Meet with business owners to assess and identify their insurance needs.
• Prepare and present proposals to secure new business.
• Collaborate with a dedicated CSR for new business processing and ongoing client servicing.
• Foster relationships with carrier partners and underwriters.
• Consistently meet or exceed production goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Required:
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
  • Proven experience in Commercial Lines sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close new business.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Preferred:
  • 3+ years of Commercial Lines production experience.
  • Familiarity with AMS360 software.
  • Experience working with carriers such as Westfield, Travelers, CNA, Western Reserve, and Liberty.
