Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager - Middle Market

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join a team. This role involves independently leading client service, strategy, and renewal messaging for larger, more complex middle-market accounts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance, demonstrate exceptional client relationship management skills, and have the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.


Compensation Package

  • Base Salary Range: $90,900 to $112,200 (subject to experience, qualifications, and business needs).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive service plans tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct gap analyses by reviewing exposures against coverages and providing recommendations.
  • Lead mid-market placements and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure efficient placement processes.
  • Prepare and participate in strategy and proposal meetings with clients.
  • Oversee confirmation of coverage, policies, endorsements, and audits as applicable.
  • Participate in or lead post-renewal and stewardship planning meetings for large clients.
  • Provide consultation on coverage needs and program design for guaranteed cost programs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of client orders and review binders for accuracy.

Qualifications/Requirements

Work Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Must hold a valid state Property & Casualty insurance license.

Essential Skills/Competencies

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in self-serve portals and client training.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and other relevant tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to resolve complex situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce quality work.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
