Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager to join a team. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction and delivering strategic planning for a select book of middle-market commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance coverages, demonstrate exceptional customer service, and have the ability to manage complex client needs effectively. This position offers a hybrid work environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $72,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) plan.
- Work Environment: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) or fully remote within California.
- Equipment: Company-provided equipment for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary service contact for a portfolio of middle-market commercial clients.
- Evaluate exposures, obtain quotes, review, negotiate, and finalize insurance policies.
- Analyze client risks and provide tailored recommendations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans in collaboration with the Client Advisor.
- Prepare and submit complete carrier submissions.
- Review and ensure accuracy of binding documents and contracts.
- Maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in the EPIC system.
- Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and proofs of insurance.
- Utilize templates and system-generated letters for client and carrier communications.
- Create and manage activities in EPIC, assigning tasks to team members as needed.
- Conduct contract reviews and provide consultation on coverage needs.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive markets, and client requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages.
- Licenses/Certifications: Active state Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with agency management systems (EPIC preferred) and carrier sites.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technology platforms.
