Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager - Local Service Manager to join a dynamic team. This leadership role involves managing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving client retention. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of commercial insurance and the expertise to lead and mentor account management teams. The position focuses on delivering outstanding results and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of commercial clients by maintaining strong, positive relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Develop strategic plans for client accounts, ensuring proper alignment with company goals and client objectives.
  • Support clients in identifying coverage needs, policy analysis, and renewal negotiation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and account management.
  • Mentor and guide account managers to maintain high-performance standards.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, recommend policy adjustments, and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes to offer informed recommendations to clients.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports, including forecasts and other analytics, to senior management and clients.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by encouraging team participation in professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field; industry certifications preferred (CIC, CPCU, ARM, etc.).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record in client management roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles, products, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring, coaching, and managing teams.
  • Proficiency in managing client accounts via CRM tools and other relevant software systems.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and handle pressure with professionalism.
  • A valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe.
