Job Title: Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager - Local Service Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager - Local Service Manager to join a dynamic team. This leadership role involves managing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and driving client retention. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of commercial insurance and the expertise to lead and mentor account management teams. The position focuses on delivering outstanding results and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a portfolio of commercial clients by maintaining strong, positive relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Develop strategic plans for client accounts, ensuring proper alignment with company goals and client objectives.
- Support clients in identifying coverage needs, policy analysis, and renewal negotiation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns and ensure prompt resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and account management.
- Mentor and guide account managers to maintain high-performance standards.
- Conduct periodic reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, recommend policy adjustments, and identify new opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes to offer informed recommendations to clients.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including forecasts and other analytics, to senior management and clients.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by encouraging team participation in professional growth opportunities.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field; industry certifications preferred (CIC, CPCU, ARM, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a proven track record in client management roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance principles, products, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring, coaching, and managing teams.
- Proficiency in managing client accounts via CRM tools and other relevant software systems.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and handle pressure with professionalism.
- A valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe.
