Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager - Transportation

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Client Manager specializing in transportation to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to the mission of delivering exceptional client management and retention services. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume book of business, build strong client relationships, and ensure the seamless handling of renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of in-office and remote work.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $80,000 - $84,000 annually
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume book of commercial transportation insurance business, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service, advocacy, and professional communication.
  • Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policy processing.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market appetites, underwriting guidelines, and submission procedures.
  • Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Coordinate expiration lists with the department manager to secure renewal business information.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Account Management.
  • Active Property & Casualty License (required).
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software (preferred).
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
