Commercial Lines Support Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Support Specialist to join a team. This role is designed to provide essential support to the Commercial Lines team, assisting with account management duties and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance administration, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting team objectives.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $41,000 - $45,000 annually (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing back-office administrative duties to support the Commercial Lines team.
- Managing administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.
- Following up with insurance carriers to ensure timely processing of requests.
- Handling phone calls and responding to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Assisting with quoting new and renewal business (90% renewals, 10% new business).
- Utilizing agency management systems, including Newton, Applied Epic, and AMS 360.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance administration.
- Possession of a Property & Casualty (P&C) license is preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one.
- Familiarity with insurance carriers and their processes.
- Proficiency in agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS 360, or similar platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
