Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is responsible for managing employee benefits accounts while delivering exceptional client service and supporting overall operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong employee benefits experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of employee benefits clients, ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction.

  • Handle quoting, renewals, marketing, binding, and policy servicing activities for employee benefits accounts.

  • Serve as a trusted resource for clients regarding benefit plans, coverage options, and ongoing service needs.

  • Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal team members to ensure timely and accurate account management.

  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation within agency management software.

  • Support client retention efforts through proactive communication and relationship management.

  • Assist with resolving client issues and addressing coverage-related questions.

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflows and service standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of employee benefits account management experience.

  • Experience using EPIC is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $84,000 - $94,000 annually, based on experience.
