Job Summary

As an Employee Benefits Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing superior service in the administration of employee benefits programs. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of benefits packages.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their unique needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Serve as the primary contact for all employee benefits inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
• Conduct regular benefits reviews and make recommendations for plan enhancements or modifications based on client feedback and industry trends.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for account growth and expansion.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure clients achieve full regulatory compliance regarding employee benefits.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 2-4+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulations, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities to address complex benefits-related issues.
• Familiarity with benefits administration software and other relevant tools.
• Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
