Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Looking for a motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a well-established team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a book of business, working with small groups (under 25 group lives) or larger groups, depending on expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business, primarily focusing on small groups (under 25 group lives) or larger groups as needed.
  • Handle various types of accounts, including self-insured, level-funded, and fully insured plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to deliver exceptional service.
  • Occasionally travel for client meetings and business engagements.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.
  • Minimum of 4 years in Employee Benefits Account Management.
  • Experience with EPIC software is preferred.
  • Motivated and hardworking.
  • Strong insurance knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and client-focused mindset.
  • Willingness/ability to travel as needed for client meetings and business engagements.
