Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing management of employee benefit programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, addressing client inquiries, and providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their employee benefit needs and develop customized solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and regulations to effectively advise clients on best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing management of employee benefit programs.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to assess program performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver benefit education and communication materials for clients and their employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous account management experience is required, preferably in the employee benefits industry.
  • 1-5 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, such as ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA.
  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license.

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $50k-$70k (based on experience).
