Benefits Account Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and professional Benefits Account Representative to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Benefits Agent and managing a variety of accounts, including group health, Medicare, and personal health insurance. This position is based onsite and offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Provide A-Z servicing for group health, Medicare, and personal health insurance accounts
- Handle client interactions, answer phones, and manage databases
- Assist with quoting new and renewal business as needed
- Support the Benefits Agent in managing accounts with less than 100 employees
- Utilize software tools such as BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator to manage accounts effectively
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with basic knowledge of BenefitPoint
- Active 2-15 license is required
- Proficiency in BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator software is preferred
- Strong organizational and database management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with the team
