Benefits Account Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Benefits Account Representative to join a growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about providing exceptional service in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Benefits Agent and managing a variety of accounts, including group health, Medicare, and personal health insurance. This position is based onsite and offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 annually
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Provide A-Z servicing for group health, Medicare, and personal health insurance accounts
• Handle client interactions, answer phones, and manage databases
• Assist with quoting new and renewal business as needed
• Support the Benefits Agent in managing accounts with less than 100 employees
• Utilize software tools such as BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator to manage accounts effectively

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with basic knowledge of BenefitPoint
• Active 2-15 license is required
• Proficiency in BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator software is preferred
• Strong organizational and database management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with the team
