Job Title: Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative (CSR)

 

Job Summary

The Employee Benefits CSR provides critical support to the benefits advisory team by ensuring timely communication, accurate processing, and proactive service throughout the benefits cycle. This role plays a key part in quote management, open enrollment, carrier coordination, and ongoing client interaction. A high-energy, detail-oriented individual with strong follow-through and a positive attitude will thrive in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support open enrollment processes by coordinating with clients, carriers, and internal advisors
  • Draft and send communications on behalf of the principal benefits advisor
  • Track status of pending items and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Request and compare quotes for new and renewal business
  • Communicate effectively with carriers and clients to address questions and concerns
  • Maintain accurate and organized records using systems such as AgencyBloc and Employee Navigator
  • Ensure no service items fall through the cracks by staying proactive and organized
  • Participate in meetings to assess client and carrier needs and align on next steps

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Life & Health (L&H) Insurance License required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an employee benefits support role; 3–4+ years preferred
  • Previous experience with AgencyBloc and Employee Navigator required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Bilingual candidates highly preferred
  • Positive, energetic attitude and a “go-getter” mindset essential
