Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and dynamic Employee Benefits (EB) Producer to join a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities, evaluating client needs, and presenting tailored benefits solutions to small and midsize groups. Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: Competitive, up to $90,000 + bonus opportunities
  • Commission: 50% on new business, 25% on renewals.
  • Benefits: Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop personal sales goals to drive business growth.
  • Evaluate client needs and present customized benefits solutions for small to midsize groups (up to 100 lives, occasionally up to 200).
  • Successfully acquire new customers and expand the agency's portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with a professional sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Occasionally assist with servicing duties, including quoting new and renewal business.
  • Generate leads independently, with some referral-based business provided.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Life & Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry (sales experience preferred but not required).
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AMS360 software is a plus.
