Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-driven Employee Benefits Producer to join a growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong hunting mindset and a passion for building and maintaining client relationships. The Employee Benefits Producer will focus on generating new business opportunities, cross-selling services, and managing accounts.

 

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: Starting at approximately $150,000
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities in the employee benefits space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, focusing on cross-selling medical, dental, vision, supplemental, life, and disability insurance products.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-to-large group accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and account management.
  • Use agency management software and other sales tools to track and manage activities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, including self-funding, level-funding, captives, and consortiums, to provide knowledgeable advice to clients.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in sales with a strong hunting mindset. Experience with self-funding, level-funding, and managing group accounts is highly preferred.
  • Licenses/Designations: Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license. P&C license is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with sales tracking and benefits administration platforms preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Grit, adaptability, self-starter mentality, and the ability to adjust to evolving business needs.
  • Education: Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience.
